The Mays

A couple of weeks ago I spent some time with my Pastor Ryan his beautiful preggers wife Selina & their entertaining son Gannon. All kinds of beautiful in this family. We went to Coolidge Park downtown, which I confess I don’t visit as often as I should & had never truly realized just how gorgeous it is in the fall. Here are some photos from our little session.

The carousal was fun, I actually got to ride that backwards. That was a first.

Thank you for stoping by my blog & for checking out the awesome May Family with me.

Kelsea is a senior this year.

A couple of years ago I had a chance to finally get to know my neighbors a little better when I did a family photo session with them. One of the things I always think of first when I think back on that day was how eaily Kelsea, the oldest of three was to photograph. It was as if she had studied modeling all her life. Easy peasy!!

With all of that said, I can’t tell you how excited I was when she had asked me about a senior session to see if I might be interested, heck yeah!

Some things you should know about Kelsea besides just that she is super sweet & beautiful is that she has a lot of talent. One of the things I absolutely adore about Kelsea & her family is how close she is to them, in fact they perform together in the local theater. I love that! So are you ready to get your Kelsea on, thought you might be!

Hope you enjoyed this fun loving photo session! Thanks for stopping by & feel free to leave some love!!

The Jeffers

First off this may be my shortest post ever, I realize that on this newer & very much still under construction site there isn’t really a whole lot to compare it to, but trust me it’s short.

Reason being because this was a very impromptu photo session taken (clears throat) quite a few months ago.

If you keep up with me at all than you probably have seen their faces before- The Jeffers.

It wasn’t even a year ago that Kristen & I met at one of the Chattanooga photographers luncheons. I’ll admit the seating was awkward & chaotic & nobody knew what the deal was about where & who to order food from. Although our food was incredibly delicious, I would vouch to say it was our confusion that brought Kristen & I together. Probably even still a huge staple in our friendship- Confusion.

Not much long after, Kristen & I were becoming best friends & hanging out literally almost every day. This was before my husband & I ever became guardians of a little girl just a few months younger than Griffin. (Never call him Griff) My husband & I  have no doubt that God place Kristen, David, & little Griffin into our lives as a gift and at the most perfect time. We absolutely love you guys & could not be as strong as we are in this time of our life without you. We love you guys so much & we also love eating all your food.:)

So if your friends with the Jeffers than you MUST leave them a comment, especially mentioning the PDA! Oh, and definitely check out Kristen Jeffers Photography good stuff!

The Gleasons

From the beginning of cynditphoto I had the support & encouragement of a friend I had never met by the name of David Gleason. Him & his above average beautiful wife, pastor a church in Manning, South Carolina. We became friends from a mutual acquaintance & fabulous friends of ours whom you have seen not yet on the new blog, but can see still on Facebook.

A few months back David sent me a message inquiring about bed & breakfasts in the Chattanooga area & was telling me how he was going to surprise Celina with a trip for their 21st anniversary, best part of all I was finally going to meet them & he had mentioned wanting me to photograph them. I felt so honored & So excited.

Their anniversary story really is the sweetest ever, guys take note. He re-purposed to her in the middle of  his church service one Sunday morning & they renewed their vows in front of the congregation.

Now with this being said, today is mine & my husbands anniversary & it is stories like Celina’s & Davids that inspire me. We all face difficult times in marriage, it’s a part of it, but to see two people so in love & to have such a respect & devotion for one another is so magical. I truly believe that they are a blessing to everyone they meet.

With that said here are some lovey dovey photos of their session together. Hope you enjoy.

(above) two of my favorites, they laughed almost the entire time it was so adorable.

Two amazing people & I can not get over Celina’s gorgeous hair!!

Celina says that she melts when David kisses her hands, it’s such a small gesture but yet so powerful. I love it!

I am still so grateful to have had the chance to spend quality time with these two amazing people. Thank you so much Celina & David for all your encouragement & for your friendship. Can’t wait to see you both again!

The Williams Family, I love them.

Last week I finally had the chance to photograph one of my top favorite families in the entire universe. Yes, I have a gazillion photos of Blaine & Derece accumulated over the years but this was our first official session. I’m hoping for many more to come. When I say that they are some of my favorite people I can prove it. It’s already been 5 years this coming May that Blaine officiated the wedding ceremony for my husband & I, & Derece was my Matron of Honor.:)I can honestly say that while going through the gazillion images that I took from last week I did in fact get emotional over it. Yes, actual tears on my cheeks because I love these folks so very VERY much.  Derece has been a sister to me even before I knew I needed another one & Blaine has been a huge encourager for me since I met him almost 13 years ago. Holy smokes! I will say it again & again I love them.

I remember the day that Derece called to tell me she was pregnant, I was mortified. Yep & she knows it, I was so worried that my D was moving on to a chapter in her life that didn’t involve kidless friends. It’s so funny now because I know were even closer than we were before. We still laugh about this particular phone call, there was no denying the fact that I was completely caught off guard.

However, any two people who make babies this cute should be multiplying & I will be the first to admit it. With that said meet Ryker. Yeah, he is so perfectly handsome & I have no doubt that he is going to break a lot of hearts, not on purpose of course but because he’s just that freaking adorable. I also love him because he calls me Lou hoo.:)

And there is Dean another ‘better than Gap’ looking baby who was born with more hair than a baby monkey. He’s so content that when they come over to the house he just lays on his belly looking around while the dogs sniff circles around him. He’s cool.

If you don’t know Blaine & Derece I imagine you’ve probably laugh less than I have in your life. I don’t say that arrogantly it’s just truth. Before I met them I knew who they were because of there charismatic personalities from being on stage with the Church of God. Can I get an amen! Wait, when i say charismatic I mean their very good acting skills, ya know drama, skits that sort of thing.  I decided I would share some of that with you. I’m not sure if Ryker taught Blaine to use his finger as a Buzz Light Year laser or if it was actually the other way around. All I know is that after this session I had been zapped 1,643,564 times. That is only an estimation.

Blaine also gave me one of the best compliments I’ve ever received years ago & I have never forgotten it, he told me I was one of the most creative people that he knew, second to Kevin DeShields. Dang you Kevin! Just kidding. Although I can’t say that I feel that I have lived up to that statement to my greatest potential it always meant so much to me because to me Blaine has always been one of the most creative people that I know. Seriously, I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t mean it. You should see this guy perform impromptu mime. In fact he also designs websites you can check out his work here.

So lets talk about Derece, not to mention the fact that she is one of the most beautiful mothers in the universe. I mean come on, I pluck one wrong eyebrow & I look like I have none, not only that Angelina has nothing on her pout! Yeah I’m jealous too, its natural.

Derece really has been there for me in some of the hardest times of my life & always at the best. I can talk to her about anything & I probably have. She inspires me to cook… on occasion & to always be myself. I know nobody like Derece & yet I feel the two of us are so kindred. Is it ok to say it again?… I love her. I love her so very much.

I realize that I wrote a lot in this post & that you mainly came by to see some photos. I’m so glad that you did in fact I hope you leave a comment as proof, but there are so many more things that I could say about that, however it is 11:12 pm so your getting a free pass. I hope you enjoyed this post. Feel free to share & contact me when your ready for your shoot. (wink, wink)

Love
